From a side-scrolling perspective, players traverse platform environments and use whips, boomerang-like blades, and grenades to kill fantastical creatures (e.g., vampires, demons, harpies, ghouls).
This is a collection of four classic Castlevania games in which players battle monsters and attempt to overthrow Dracula and his minions. Update 09/23/21 at 8:30 a.m.: Castlevania Advance Collection has been rated by the Entertainment Software Rating Board. There is also a “Rewind” function and other handy features. The newly published description also confirms that it includes Castlevania: Circle of the Moon in 2001, Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance in 2002, and Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow, as well as Castlevania: Dracula X. The collection will presumably include the three Castlevania games released for Game Boy Advance from 2001 to 2003: Castlevania: Circle of the Moon in 2001, Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance in 2002, and Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow in 2003.
